I think its a faux app.
I think its a faux app.
I lost my Fitbit yesterday walking my dog. I wasn’t sure where I lost it but thought it was in the house somewhere. I contemplated getting the app but didn’t want to spend the money. I finally decided to go get the app. Omg! I found it in 5 minutes! Well worth the $6.
Was terrible just let me find my Fitbit without paying this is ridiculous
I’ve been trying to find my Fitbit for the last week. Very frustrating since it doesn’t make a noise. Downloaded this app and all of a sudden my Fitbit charge five showed up at about 40 feet away I did as instructed and walked very, very slowly on my first floor of the house. It reached about 70% hot. But never got higher and then I thought maybe it’s in the basement below the first floor and that’s when it continued to get hotter. Again, you have to walk very slowly and move the phone around. I finally thought I discovered my Fitbit which seemed to be in a barber haircutting kit. I unzipped the kit and poured out the different trimmers and there it was mixed in with them! I never ever would’ve found it without this app!!
Very smart program! My watch was not on my wrist very tight because I broke my finger and the watch kept falling off. One less thing to worry about. Yay.
The app definitely helped me find the vicinity, but it never went to 100% when we were close by. It kind of sat at the 80% range even though we were right on top of the missing watch. However, we did find it so four stars for sure!
Was going crazy for it for 2 hours. Said ok let’s try this I looked at the reviews then purchased the weekly tracker. Found it in less than 5 minutes
I am amazed at how the app works! I found my phone in the most unlikely place to look. Thank you!
ONLY USE THIS APP AS A LAST RESORT!!!! Not only does this app bombard you with a million ads, they also demand you pay $5.99 A WEEK to locate the device you need to find. They already made money off of me by showing me the ads, now they want to extort more by requiring a subscription to find the device. I figured they used a subscription service to justify the jacked up pricing. If that wasn’t scummy enough, they lure you in by showing you that the app is free yet to use it you need to pay for the subscription. Absolutely disgusting market strategy and it works because there aren’t many alternatives. TLDR ONLY USE THIS APP AS A LAST RESORT!!!!
Omg what a lifesaver. Lost Fitbit a few days ago, tore house apart (I know it is here bc it syncs). Finally paid the $5.99 on your app - five minutes later - it found my Fitbit!! Thank you for this
Like several of these apps, it promises it can see where your Fitbit is and will guide you to it once you pay a fee. Then after they have collected their money, suddenly the Fitbit they claimed to see is no longer there, even though the Fitbit still syncs to my phone in the same area. Don’t waste your money.
I purchased the app to find my Fitbit and spent 2 hours in a ground floor building to have this app say that my device in the concrete several times.
This actually works! It helped me find my Fitbit through multiple walls and a pile of clothes. However, expect to pay at least for a weekly subscription (around $5). I thought that maybe it would give you a freebie and then try to get you to pay but nope! Must pay, still it works!
Paid 5.99, tearing house apart and still can’t find it. Need some app developers to make the device make noise.
This app is completely unusable. You click the device and it’s just an ad. They should at least be honest and make the app cost money rather than that stupid loop. Hate it. Don’t recommend it. At all.
Found my Fitbit in my laundry bin in a pant pocket in about 5 min after being lost for several days with this app!
I’ll keep it simple, I tried multiple apps and I mean dang near all or the Bluetooth finders, some will lead you to believing it’s locating your unit, they will report it’s 3 to 16 feet away and it will never be found. I downloaded this app first, then I find out you had to pay 5.99 for a week to use the app, thought heck naw, then I went back to using all those free apps, couldn’t find it, so I payed the 5.99 and bam what do you know this thing lead me very close to my Versa 4, called my phone to make it vibrate and bam, I found it in my boys room. To me it’s worth the 5.99, this is a good app, worked as advised. And I didn’t have to unpair my watch.
Lost my Fitbit sometime in the morning and didn’t miss it until almost dark. The band came off one end of the watch. I had no idea Where to begin looking. Searched the web and found this app. In about 15 minutes it led me to the inside of a stock trailer that I have cleaned out that morning. Well worth the 6 bucks.
I realized I lost my Fitbit after getting dressed for dinner. I backtrack and backtrack and backtrack could not find it. I download, retraced my steps and within five minutes found my Fitbit. Do not hesitate to download this app if you need to find your Fitbit
I lost my Fitbit at work mid shift and couldn’t find it anywhere, I knew it was in the building but this app helped me find it. Kicked underneath a showcase! Lol
This worked. It was in my drawer so I thought it was in a pocket of my pants, but it was underneath some clothes so as I emptied the drawer the signal got stronger. Loved the app.
Three days I couldn’t find my Fitbit. I searched and searched. I found the app today in the App Store. Had my Fitbit on my arm in less than 10 minutes!! Thank you!!!
It’s in the title. The app does work and I was able to find my Fitbit. Obviously, the price of the app is worthwhile if the alternative is buying a new device. But I do think the app price is a bit predatory given the circumstances that would require it.
Took some searching. Fitbit was in a drawer in kitchen ( go figure) still, found it in no more than 10 minutes of focused searching had to dig through my recyclables bin and the *Ugh* garbage bin. But I saved myself $100+! Worth the weeks subscription!
Just another way to squeeze more money out of the consumer. Should have went team Apple.
My Fitbit seemed hopelessly lost. Got Find My Fitbit as a last resort. Strongest signal was in my closet at 50%, but it flashed 100% a couple of times near the floor. Found my device in the basement directly below!
I eventually found it. I would say this app narrowed down the room, but it never got past 80 even after I found it with it right next me still around 80
Nothing but wanting you to pay
Yeah.. so i accidentally threw my fitbit away. Got close to the trash and the meter went up.. yeah.. it was in the trash.
Can't believe this but yes, this thing worked. Thank you, silly app!
My wife lost her Fitbit on a walk this morning. We know where it stopped counting, but could not find it. Downloaded the Fitbit Finder app and the cold-warm-hot feature put us in the right area within minutes. The percentage signal strength located it within a few feet from where we found it. Great app, well worth the cost.
I knew my watch was close because it would sync but could not locate it. I downloaded this app and discovered it was actually outside and not inside where I thought it was. Definitely worth the money unlike allot of other apps out there.
I tried 3 other apps one of which was $29 and I glossed over the fact that it would find ONLY Fitbits This app worked great it took about 5 minutes to find it in the pocket of some PJ’s that were in a dresser drawer
I don’t know why my reviews keep disappearing, but I will continue to preach how awful this app is. It is not free- they want your credit card for insane “subscription” fees. It’s absolutely not worth a download.
Yall I lost my fitbit in my hotel room for DAYS and I downloaded other free apps because I was annoyed at having to pay for this. But those apps were glitchy and wonky. So on my last day, I paid the 5.99 and was like what the heck, this is a last ditch effort. And I found it!! Literally tucked behind the room phone because the cleaning people must’ve pushed it out of the way? Idk. Anyway, so happy right now!!!
Looked for a week. Got this app and found it in minutes. It was in my engine compartment of my truck. Came off when I was working on the engine. Had no clue. Great app!
“Signal” jumps all over the place, even when you’re still. My daughter found my device, I put it on and used the app, inches away, which still jumped from 89% down to 23% to 56% etc. I think it’s just random numbers.
Useless app. Used a different app to find my Fitbit. Even sitting here with Fitbit and phone together this app only shows 51% signal strength.
I definitely thought this could be a scam but it worked and I used this to find my Fitbit!!
Best $10 I’ve spent in a long time. I didn’t know it, but I lost my Fitbit off the roof while hanging Christmas light. I looked all over the house, walked around outside and couldn’t find it anywhere. Downloaded the app, walked around the house again a realized it must be outside. Boom! Right there in the shrubs. I would’ve never found it w/o this app. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
It saved me a ton of stress and headache! Narrowed it down to a bedroom drawer!
Used the app once, found my Fitbit, and was happy with the result. I’m now checking my statement to see that this app has been charging $6 a week EVERY WEEK since September. No requests for refunds have been answered. Such a sick monetization model.
After two days of searching using the free trial of a different app, as my Fitbit battery declined from 33% to 18%, I decided that since this app was detecting the signal much more consistently (and in line with when my Bluetooth said it was connected), I would try the one week paid subscription. I found my Fitbit in about 20 min using the warmer colder dial. Had to walk slowly and pause a lot to see if numbers continued to go up. One one floor, I got to a max of 63%, so I went upstairs to the same area and got to 80%. I dumped out a box and that I had previously searched and set it on my charging pouch, which I had not bothered to unzip. It went to 100% and I found it tucked in with my travel charging cords. I had forgotten I took it off on an overnight trip. If I lose something again, I’ll go with the lifetime as it is the same cost as 3 week subscription.
When I gave up on the app yet found my app on my own, I put the app right next to the Fitbit and it still wasn’t detecting the Fitbit after quite a bit of time. incredible waste of money. I hope there’s a way to get a refund.
I’ve lost my Fitbit 3 or 4 times and have easily found it every time. Just take your time and let it do its thing.
Found it in my sock drawer LOL!!!
Trash
As per everything these days. There is a pay wall. 9.99?? To find my device one time??? Insane
Incredible app, works great.
After four days of not finding my Fitbit, I googled what to do and ways to locate it. I was directed to an app that I thought was free but, reluctantly, I ended up paying $29.99 for the lifetime fee (instead of a monthly fee) to find my watch. After 20 minutes walking around my house I found it! I never would have looked in my daughter’s bottom bathroom drawer (🙄) but lo and behold there it was, mixed in with her heat tools disguised by the cords. Totally worth the money as I’m sure I’ll misplace again over time
